Biography: Rodney Heller is co-founder, lead designer and managing partner of Energy Performance Lighting (EPL).  EPL is a professional design-build energy efficient lighting company specializing in existing buildings with headquarters in McFarland, WI. We help our customers to dramatically reduce energy costs of internal and external lighting by 60-80%.  We work with businesses to ensure that they have the right lighting, are using energy efficient fixtures and bulbs and get every feasible reduction in greenhouse gases.

Presentation Description:  When it comes to cutting greenhouse gases, lighting upgrades have proven to be a most cost effective measure.  Indeed, many companies with sustainability goals drove their projects forward based on the savings alone.  As lighting design experts, EPL have always been a proponent of lighting upgrades to improve employee health and productivity in addition to savings.   How can we upgrade commercial building lighting to make it affordable, help the bottom line and improve employee productivity?   Is this all possible? During our presentation Light & Health, we will share our knowledge of light and its impact on employee productivity, a field that is now being explored right now. With the help of Rodney Heller and a number of these projects under our belt, we will share the most current thinking and experiences on Light & Health.
