In collaboration with Milwaukees Open Door event, Eppstein Uhen Architects (EUA) will focus on sustainability both in architecture and in life, with something for all levels of the family. Full building tours for adults will point out sustainable building features, with quick-stop stations that will highlight sustainable strategies and resources. EUA will be educating children via an interactive 3D modeling station where they can learn about sustainable building design practices including rain gardens, solar shading, use of windows/sunlight, and the benefits of landscaping. Children can create their own customized sustainable models to print and take home. Plus, as an added benefit sustainable-themed, snacks and refreshments will also be provided. Click
